Process description
1 All suppliers’ containers have RFID labels (box ID).
2 The buyer has a defined place where empty containers are collected.
3 This place is controlled by RFID antenna + reader.
4 RFID antenna + reader that detects every change (added or removed empty container) and reports the status to the supplier in the program already installed for such matters.
In this way, the supplier knows the state of empty containers at the customer’s location and decides on replenishment based on this.
The RFID reader is designed to read the state of the containers several times per time unit. When the container is read, the RFID reader sends information about the ID of the container read. When rereading, the reader detects this same ID again.
The supplier must determine how long the system takes into account that the rereading is successful before sending the stock balance (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
Customer location:
RFID antenna + reader with 4G/LTE industrial modem and SIM card at the buyer’s place. There is no need to connect to the customer’s Internet network.
Location of the supplier’s warehouse:
RFID printer with NL software for printing RFID labels.
