Cookies
“Cookies” are small files a website sends to the Internet user’s browser. When the website is revisited, the browser returns them to the server, thereby identifying the user. Thus, the website can, for example, adjust ads, record the visit history, save settings and usernames and passwords, and collect various information, including personal data about the user.
The new Act on Electronic Communications (ZEKom-1) requires that every website that uses cookies must provide the user with the following information:
- what cookies it contains,
- for what purpose are they collected, and
- the way of their use.
Like most websites, we use cookies to provide a better, faster, and safer experience.
